As an artist, I find inspiration in the interconnected nature of all things. Weather in the recent years has impacted me greatly. Whether it is my personal experience alone, or a phenomena we're collectively experiencing, the WIND lately has impacted me. Not only the wind itself, but the rest of nature's response to it.
This piece is a study of a rose that keeps coming back each year, visible from my kitchen window. The rose vine is intertwined with a tree and its bright flowers whipping around in the tree's foliage is captivating and humbling. This is a treasured moment in time that has come back to visit me again and again.
